Recipe Steps

Add ¼ cup cranberry sauce and ¼ cup mayonnaise to small bowl. Whisk to combine. Set aside.

Finely mince 1 small bunch fresh sage leaves. Measure 2 tsp and add to large bowl.

Pull leaves from one bunch fresh thyme. Finely mince. Measure 1 tsp and add to sage.

Smash and peel 1 clove garlic. Finely mince and add to sage and thyme.

Add 1 lb ground turkey, ½ tsp kosher salt, and 3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce to garlic herb mixture. Mix well with your hands to combine.

Divide meat into 4 equal portions. Shape each into a patty about the size of the 4 burger buns.

Heat 1 Tbsp vegetable oil in skillet over medium-high heat.

Carefully add turkey patties to skillet. Cook until bottoms are browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Use a burger flipper to flip patties.

Add 4 slices of Provolone cheese, one on top of each patty.

Cook until bottoms are browned and internal temperature reaches 165°F, about 5-7 minutes.

Build your burger. Spread cranberry mayo on bun. Top with patty, fried onions, and 4 lettuce leaves.

Recipe Notes

  • A burger bar gives everyone a chance to participate. Include other common burger condiments so burgers can be customized.

  • At dinner, start a conversation about gratitude. Go around the table, and have everyone name 3 things they are grateful for and explain why.
